Altenew Educator Certification Program Challenge 1

Hello Everyone,

Finally I have come to an end of my level 1 Classes . After completing 10 wonderful classes with wonderful teachers , it was definitely a very hard choice for me to just select three techniques and make one card.

But overcoming that difficulty I have selected my three techniques in one card.

And this is my go.

My first technique Showcase All about layering flowers where I have used Build a Flower Anemone Coronaria along with its dies. I have also used the Sentiments from the stamp set called Birthday Builder, a very nice stamp and it has different font which can be used to write Happy Birthday on your cards.

Then I chose the techniques which lets me put a glitter washi on my card and gave my card a bit of Shine so I will let it shine on my card for that extra sparkle.

And the Last technique was Easy Die cutting where I have used my Cozy Flannel Cover die to emboss for my backgrounds.

Hope this will be my lucky card to let me win my challenge.

Until my next post

Take Care

DT Deni - MFT Stamps - Id Jump Through A Puddle For You

Good Morning,

Today I am sharing a card I made for Auzz Trinklets N Crafts using MFT Stamps Puddle Jumper Stamp Set You can purchase it here from Auzz Trinklets N Crafts.

I started by stamping the image and sentiment onto Mondi Color Copy using my Misti Stamping Tool and Memento Tuxedo Black. I ran the image through my Sizzix Big Shot with the matching die and then coloured it using Copic Markers which I will have listed below my walk through.

I then grabbed a patterned paper pad from Pebbles called "Garden Party", I used a small piece of green polka dots which I had left from another project.

I used a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block and stamped just the top section of the image onto that patterned paper. I used EK Success Cutterbee Scissors to carefully fussy cut the umbrella piece out and used a small amount of American Tombow Mono Multi liquid adhesive and adhered the umbrella to the image. It turned out perfect!

When I first started this card I had come across the patterned paper pad above as it was used on a recent project, and the thing that jumped out at me was the "rain words" sheet of paper, funny enough it was actually the only full sheet of paper left in the pad and I knew I wanted to use this Puddle Jumper Stamp.

I didn't want to lose too much of the rain words so I decided to pop the image onto a piece of vellum which I had cut using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Die which I had ran through my Sizzix Big Shot.

I had some smaller pieces left in the pad so I layed down a couple of strips to the left of my layout, then layed the rain words over top. I cut some clouds using Die-namics Puffy Clouds and some excess white cardstock. I glued one underneath the vellum and one over top so I could hide the adhesive. I carefully cut the little boys arm using a Pen Blade so I could slide the sentiment under. I then adhered them both using Scotch ATG. The Card still needed something more so I added some little white hearts that I had sitting on my desk and that was my card complete. I really love the way it turned out.

Create a Scene with Altenew Stamps

Hello Everyone,

I am back again with my card blog post. This time I have created a scene using two stamps from Altenew which are Winter cottage and Pine Tree Stamps.

I have also done some making using Inkadinkado Masking sheets.

First I have cut out my circle and the slopes from my masking sheets.
Then I have tried to use the distress inks Salty ocean , Blue print sketch and Tumbled glass to create  sky and some of the snowy effect for the slopes using the masking cut outs.

After that I planned trees and the cottage stamping them with the Jet black ink from Altnew on Neenah solar white cardstock.

I have layered my card with two colored pattern paper which I had in my stash.

Masking technique is fun and I have really enjoyed doing this.

Hope to learn more and use more of Altenew Stamps and Dies as it looks like I am getting too much obsessed with this Brand now :D

Hope you all like it and please don't forget to leave some comments for me.

Thanks for Stopping by

Altenew Let it shine Card

Hello Bloggers,

Hope you all are doing well.

Today I have created another card for my AEP which has a theme Let it shine, though my card this time does not have shine that much as using a bit embossing powder make it only have shimmering look on it.

I can very well see that the Embossing powder is very hard to see on this above image to I have tried taking a close up picture for the same.

I have made my own background using Altenew Mini Ink cubes which very well goes with my Card theme.

Hope you all like it. Don't forget to leave comments below it really boosts my morale.

Altenew Clean & Simple Boutique Cards

Hello everyone

I am back again from my New Zealand break which I went last week. In fact it was not a holiday, I went there to help my sister for her exhibition for SENZ2018 ( Scrapbook Expo).

Coming back to Altenew card which I created today is for AEP ( Altenew Educator Program).

Here I was meant to create a simple Boutique card and below is my take for the same.

I have created this card using Altenew's Golden feather Stamp along with their Simply hello die for the word Hello.

I have used Deco foil sheet to cover my hello with copper foil shine. I have just used a simple laminator (bought from Kmart) and some  clear embossing powder to stick my foil sheet on my die cut.

For my Inks I have used Altenews Mini Ink cube set warm and Cozy.

Hope you all like it. will be back soon with my another make.

Thanks for stopping

Have a lovely day and happy blogging.

Die Cutting Techniques

Hello Everyone,

I am here again with my another card created for AEP ( Altenew Educator Program).

Today I have tried my hands on the dies from Altenew layering die which is Layered Blossom Cover Die A and B.

Here are the results.
For this Card I have first used my Layered Blossom Cover Die A to first emboss on a purple cardstock and then after cutting out from Cover Die B I have used the negative die cuts to give a light shading for my flowers. For the leaves as well I used all the negative die cuts and outlines to make it look more leafy.

Quick and easy tutorials and multi use of dies are so effective , I couldn't imagine . All in all it was yet another fun lesson.

Hope you like my card. Please do leave a comment for boosting my morale :)

First Blog post for Altenew.

Hello Everyone,

After a very long time writing my blog again. This time I wanted to share a big news with all my subscribers. I have been accepted into the Educator's Program run by Altenew .

Yay!!!!

So here comes my first project challenge for the first class which I did called All about Layering 1. Very impressed with the Basic layering techniques which were taught in the classes by beautiful Nicole Picadura

In the class she gave us very useful tips and tricks for your basic layering and also information regarding how to play around with the stamps when stamping an image.

Very fun and enjoying lessons for beginners.

After watching and practicing the classes I have made a card which is called Twisted Triple Panel.

Hope you all will like it . Don't forget the leave a comment.

Keep watching the space for more .

Neha
