DT Deni - Make It A Card Tuesday - MFT Unicorns

Good Morning Everyone,

DT Deni Here, It's Make It A Card Tuesday here at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts for you today, using a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Magical Unicorns. I love love love unicorns and couldn't wait to get this set.

Let's talk process then i will add links down the bottom of all the items i have used on this card.

First i stamped the images out on Mondi Color Copy using Memento Tuxedo Black and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

I normally would colour all the images at this stage but i was multi-tasking a few things at the time so i ended up die cutting all the images using my Sizzix Big Shot first.

I then coloured all the images using Copic Markers (list will be below) once they were all coloured i added Wink Of Stella clear to the horns.

Next i used Blueprints 27 from My Favorite Things and cut out the frame using Mondi Color Copy so it was the same white as the images.

I used my Mini Distress Inks and Mini Ink Blending Tool from Tim Holtz to blend the backgrounds of all the rectangles. I used Tumbled glass on the small two rectangles and both Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar on the larger one. While blending the larger rectangle i somehow crumpled it slightly (aah) so after the card was finished I added some Sequins from my stash to cover that spot up.

After doing all the blending i laid it all out on my desk to work out what i was going to do design wise.. At first i was planning to put a unicorn into all three rectangles.. when i laid it out it just didn't look right.. so then i decided to stamp the rainbow onto the middle rectangle and colour it to match. (just realised i did this before blending not after).

I glued the unicorns onto the rectangles using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive and then added the wings as i wasn't sure if i was going to add them using foam tape or not. I ended up glueing them on as i decided i would put the frame onto the large rectangle die from the Blueprints 27 set using Scotch Foam Adhesive. I cut the rectangle out of some leftover blue from a previous project.

I then added the whole layout to a card base from Twiddleybitz using my Scotch ATG and that is the card complete.

Lucky last i added some Perfect Pearls to a Ranger Mini Mister and spritz my whole card so it is all glittery and beautiful.

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - Prehistoric Fun

Good Morning Everyone,

DT Deni Here,

It's Make It A Card Thursday here at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, I  have been playing with the MFT Stamps - Prehistoric Fun Dinosaur stamps. They were so much fun to colour and create with.
I have created 3 cards with them and thought i'd pop in and share them.

I have coloured all the images using Copic Markers. Papers are from a Prima paper pad. I have used sentiment strips from Lawn Fawn Stamps, the sentiments are all from the same stamp set and i stamped them using Memento Tuxedo Black.
The white circles are all cut using MFT Dies on my Sizzix Big Shot.

You can order this stamp set and matching dies (I actually forgot to purchase the dies for this stamp set so cut them by hand), aswell as the MFT Circle dies I have used from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

Make It A Card Tuesday - DT Deni- For Nanny

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - Extra Washing

Hi There welcome to my blog,

Sorry it's been a while since my last post, i'm a bit behind with my blogging at the moment.

I recently received a huge craft haul from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts so have been trying to be a little bit more creative.

A nice card order from a friend always helps too :-)

I have used one of my new stamp sets from Lawn Fawn - Loads of Fun with the matching dies.

I have created a baby shower card for a new little girl. I have used the clothing items from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Little Bundle as the other clothing items didn't suit the look i was going for.

DT Deni - Make It A Card Thursday - Be Your Own Hero

Good Morning Everyone,

DT Deni here,

Today i have a Make It A Card Thursday project for you.

I have used a stamp from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townie Hayley The Hero. Such a cute image and an awesome one to colour.

I kind of went with a Superman colour theme for the image but added some pink in to make it more girly.

I have used papers from The Craft Stall which i found in the Reject Shop, they were quite cheap and seemed to fit my image perfectly, and since I'm still unpacking my craft room i mainly have all my new stuff next to my desk at the moment.

I have coloured the image up using Copic Markers which is generally my go to for colouring. I have stamped it using MFT Hybrid ink liquorice black on a Mondi cardstock. My aim for this year is to start using my other mediums lol. I have distress markers, prismacolours, inktense pencils, spectrum noir pencils and they all have been highly neglected haha.

On this card today i have used a few bits and pieces of leftover diecuts which i keep in a little basket on my desk. The little flag is from MFT, the star is also from MFT ( I have inked this up using a distress ink from Tim Holtz Ranger), Doily i think is from Kaisercraft. The Stitched Circle is from Lawn Fawn, Cardstocks are from Kaisercraft and American Crafts aswell as Canson. The Card Base and envelope are from Twiddleybitz. The small piece of ribbon is from my stash. I have attached everything using my Scotch ATG and Tombow Mono Multi for the small die cuts.
I have coated the mask and cape in Clear Wink Of Stella before attaching the image onto my card using Scotch Mounting Tape.

Make It With Scraps Friday - DT Deni

Good Morning Everyone,

Dt Deni Here..

I have a quick card for you today to start off the new year. A friend asked if I could make her Mum a Birthday Card, she didn't want any images on there and was happy with just a sentiment type thing on the front.

I came up with this design in Silhouette studio, the outside shape is from the Silhouette Store. Bling is from Kaisercraft.

The Chevron pattern is from MFT Small Chevron Stripes Stencil and it is inked using a mini ink blending tool and Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Inks.

The leaves are from La La Land Crafts Open Leaf Flourish Die and cut with Canson Cardstock on the Big Shot. The flowers are all from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts as are all the products above that i have used.
Card Base is from Twidleybitz, Watercolour paper from Canson and the purple layer is from Kaisercraft.

DT Deni - Christmas Cheer For My Nanny

Good Afternoon Everyone,

DT Deni here,

An afternoon post from me for a change, I made this card this morning (for an order) and was so excited to share it with you all that I couldn't wait until tomorrow to post it :-)

I have used a stamp from Wild Rose Studio called Starry Night which I purchased from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts in my last haul.

I don't own a lot of Wild Rose Stamps, I was quite surprised with this one, the card you will see shortly was the first stamping of this stamp. It stamped absolutely perfect using Mememto Tuxedo Black Ink, there was no prep needed for the stamp. (In the stamping world there is a trick to getting a crisp image with clear stamps, we are known to rub an eraser over the top of the stamp prior to using which will help the ink grab onto the stamp)

I could not be happier with the image which is maybe why this card was so easy for me to make today.

So as I said, I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black and my Fiskars Stamp Press onto Mondi 200gsm cardstock.
I have coloured the image using Copic Markers (list of those used below) Patterned papers used were from a Studio Calico Paper Pad called Wonderland Collection. I like this paper pad as it is not all just reds and greens, there is some softer papers in there also.
Everything was cut on my Caterpillar Pro paper trimmer and adhered with either my Scotch ATG or Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive for smaller sections.

Once everything was adhered together I then attached it to a card base from Twiddleybitz, I add a matching envelope behind the card and pop them into a clear cello card sleeve and this is how they are posted or handed to my customers.

DT Deni Make It A Card Thursday - The Amazing Cheerleader

Hi Everyone DT Deni here,

I can't believe how long it has been since I have made a card, actually quite sad within myself that my creativity has gone out the window lately but unfortunately we all have these moments.. mine has just lasted a little longer than I had expected.

Today I have created a card for Make it a card Thursday here at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts using an image from Some Odd Girl called Cheerleader Kaylee. I Have a feeling this is the first time I have used her however I have had her for quite a while now. She was one that I had already printed but not yet popped onto a card.

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - Wise Ol Owl

Hi Everyone!

A bit of a later in the week post from me this week. Today is a miserable wet day here so I did a few quick errands this morning hoping there wouldn't be many people out. I wasn't out for very long, by the time I was finished it felt like everyone had arrived.. that was good timing :-)

It is Make It A Card Thursday over at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, unfortunately I have had to cut down on these lately due to time restrictions however I didn't get a post done on Tuesday this week.

Yesterday I created this card using a new stamp of mine - Daddy Owl by Dare 2B Artzy. I have never purchased this brand before and must say I am quite impressed. It is a clear stamp set and stamped perfect first go.. normally you have to stamp them a few times to prime them up, even the sentiments were perfect first time. I used Memento Tuxedo Black with this set.

I have stamped the images on X-Press it Blending Card using the Memento ink, I then cleaned the stamps using my Hero Arts Clear Design Scrubber Pad, these are available to purchase with the Ultra Clear Spray from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

I have coloured the owl using Copic Markers and added some extra details using my Uniball Signo White Gel Pen. (a tip I recently heard about was to use the pen on your hand before the paper, this will warm the ink and allow it to flow more freely).

I have used papers from Kaisercraft Timeless Collection, including the clock which I have cut out on the left hand side of the card. I have matted the papers using American Crafts Cardstocks and inked them up using My Ranger Mini Ink Blender Tools and Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Mini Ink Pads - Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.

The Card base is from Twiddleybitz. I have also added a chipboard tree looking design from 2Crafty. I have used the Distress Inks on this aswell so it would blend into my background. I have used Kaisercraft Foam Mounting Tape on the owl aswell as the sentiment.

The stamps I have used around the outside of the owl are from Tim Holtz Euro Elements Stamp Set. Everything has been cut using my new Stampin Up Trimmer (with rotary arm), I am loving my new trimmer!! I was a little worried to begin with spending this kind of money on another trimmer after just recently purchasing the Cutterpillar Pro, but I am pretty happy. You may ask why I have purchased another trimmer.. the Cutterpillar Pro is awesome.. however it is too big for my desk. I currently have it on the table in the centre of my room for bigger projects and when I am working over there. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking at a new trimmer.

Oh, one last thing, everything is stuck down using my Scotch ATG, best thing ever for adhesives, I still use my Tombow Mono Multi for smaller pieces like the Chipboard Tree thing.

Make it A Card Tuesday - DT Deni Out Of This World Space Dude

Hi Everyone!

It's Make It A Card Tuesday over at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, today I have a card using a few images from Digi Stamp Boutique.
The images I have used have been merged together to create a space scene. I have used images from a set called Space Adventure Set.

I have layered the card up using papers from Doodlebug Design - Hip Hip Hooray, I have matted them using American Crafts Cardstock. The Stars are all from My Favorite Things die and were actually left overs from a few others cards I have previously made. The Pierced flags are also from My Favorite Things. The Oval cuts are from Kaisercraft Dies, I have also traced the outer and inner layers using the dies and cut them out to get the closer matting sizes.

I have adhered everything using my Scotch ATG and also some Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive for the stars. Everything is then adhered to a card base from Twiddleybitz.

Make It A Card Tuesday- DT Deni - Drink Up Love

Good Morning, DT Deni here.

Today I have created a card using an image from Some Odd Girl called Cheers Kaylee.

I have coloured her up using Copic Markers. I have cut her out using Oval Dies from Kaisercraft.

I have cut the number using Parker Number dies from Memory Box using Kaisercraft Papers. The papers used on this card are also from Kaisercraft - The paper collection I have use is called Confetti.. it's so pretty because I am a big pink lover :-)
The pierced flag dies are from My Favorite Things.

I have coloured her with Copic Markers and added some Uniball White Signo Pen for the extra details.

I have used leftover Kraft Cardstocks for the matting aswell as Canson Cardstock. Papers are from Graphic 45 Come Away With Me 6x6 Paper Pad.

DT Deni - Make It A Card Tuesday - Next Gen Granny

A friend asked me yesterday to make a Grandmother Birthday Card, She picked an image from CC Designs but said she wanted something similar but different.
