DT Deni - Baby's First Christmas

Good Morning All!

As most of you know our dedicated Leader and Shop owner over at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts is away at the moment and arrives back home this weekend. All of the girls on the DT are so thankful for the opportunities she has given us to work with her shop products throughout 2017.

I would also like to thank all the girls have worked with us this year, we appreciate all the work you have put in.

Now that is done, on to my last Christmas Project, as the Design Team comes to end for 2017.
I am using a stamp from La La Land Crafts called Christmas Baby.

I have coloured him up using Copic Markers on Mondi Color Copy 250GSM, these will be listed below all the process details.

I have fussy cut him out using Cutterbee Scissors from EK Success, I have then very gently gone around the outside of the image with a Tombow Dual Brush Marker to give it a finished black edge.

I have cut a stitched circle from Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Stax, (not sure which set as mine are all in one package) using patterned paper from American Crafts Hollyday 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the base layers from American Crafts Plain Coloured Cardstock.

I have matted all the layers using Scotch ATG. I have cut the sentiment using a banner die which I have then chopped the end using Cutterbee Scissors as it was still too long.

The Christmas Trees were cut using My Favorite Things Oh Christmas Trees Dies from Bo Bunny Paper Leftovers (unsure of name as this had previously been cut off). I ran them through my Sizzix Big Shot.

Once the trees were die cut I used the stamp set and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block to add the decorations onto the front tree. I stamped them with Versamark Watermark ink, I then added Wow! Embossing Powder - Vintage Candy Cane, then heat set them using my Heat Gun.

All these smaller bits were all adhered the mat layers using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I finally added all these layers to a Pre-Made Card Base From Twiddleybitz (no longer in business as far as I am aware)

As finishing touches, I added some Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ruby Slippers.

And that is all my card process done. I will add all the links below of all the products that were used.

DT Deni - Sweater Weather For Christmas

Can you believe Christmas is over and done with for another year already, it seems to come and go so quickly these days.. am I getting old or is it really happening... hahah.

Today I am sharing a blog post for Auzz Trinklets n Crafts, we are celebrating Christmas all month long, who wouldn't want to celebrate all month long anyway.. :-)

I have used a stamp from La La Land Crafts called Christmas Sweater Luka. He was such a cute image to colour up. I used my Copic Markers to colour him in this time around, I know I have started playing with my pencils lately but I will always be a Copic Girl.

I stamped the image on Mondi Color Copy 250GSM cardstock and stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black. I then coloured the image using Copic Markers which I will list below. I cut the image out using EK Success Cutterbee scissors and then used a Tombow Dual Ended Marker to edge the image. I added Wink Of Stella to a few sections of the image.

I cut a circle using My Favorite Things Die-namics Wonky Stitched Circle Stax using Red American Crafts Cardstock, I cut the sentiment strip using my Cutterpillar Pro Trimmer and then just snipped the edge using my Cutterbee Scissors.

I added the clear drops using Nuvo Crystal Drops - Morning Dew. Patterned paper is from American Crafts Hollyday 6x6 Paper Pad. All base layers are from American Crafts Cardstocks. The Card Base is from Twiddleybitz.

Dt Deni Christmas 2 - Happy Pawlidays

Good Morning Lovely Followers :-)

DT Deni with you on this fine morning, hope everyone who celebrates Christmas is ready..Santa will be here in the morning.. how exciting!

It's a hot week in Sydney Australia this week, crazy temps I even pulled the kids out of the pool as it wasn't getting ridiculous temperatures.

I have been creating planner layouts in my Large Kikki K lately and I have another one for you today. I am using inserts from Chasing Planner Peace which I am absolutely in love with. The quality of the paper is awesome and they make my life so much easier.

I am creating for Auzz Trinklets N Crafts this week, and decided i'd go with another planner layout.

I have used a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Happy Pawlidays, I have also used the matching the dies on my images. I stamped the images onto PPS Sticker paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, I used my Misti Stamping Tool to place all the images onto my dies so I didn't have to cut them apart. I stamped and coloured them before sending them through my Sizzix Big Shot die cutting machine.

I coloured them using Prismacolor pencils, I don't have them listed as I was colouring in bed while my fiancé and I were watching a movie.

I sent the images through my Big Shot, some I did end up fussy cutting by hand to fit them into my planner scene a little better and I added a few details using Copic Multi liner and also Uniball Signo White Angelic gel pen.

I cut the little rectangle using My Favorite Things Stitched Rounded rectangle frames and added the word dies from My Favorite Things Peaceful Words dies, all of these were cut using American Crafts Cardstock. I added Wink Of Stella to some sections of the images and the lights and baubles.

I cut the snowflakes using PPS Sticker Paper, they were so detailed I didn't want to try and glue them by hand and I can't find my Xyron Sticker Maker :-( I'm thinking I may add some glitter to them using my Wink Of Stella but I haven't as yet.

I really hope you like my planner layout, you may ask how I do all my planning with so many images etc.. this planner is the planner I use for my Card stuff, so my blog posts, my Dt Assignments etc so there isn't a whole heap of details going in it. I have a personal size planner for all my personal and every day stuff.

DT Teresa - Christmas 2

Hi There Everyone!

Today I am sharing another Christmas card that I have created production line style. While it appears simple, it was fairly time consuming to create a large number of cards with each piece being diecut one at a time - you know how it goes! I had one of my 18 year old boys offer to help me put the cards together, while the other offered to help out around the house...both are at a loose end now that they have finished Year 12!

The assistance was greatly appreciated needless to say.

A short time ago, Neha added some Karen Burniston products to the store and they looked like fun. The die set I chose was Karen Burniston in Cahoots with Riley and Company, Charm Accordion, (unfortunately no longer in stock). I thought this would work well with the dies from Tim Holtz, Mini Christmas Things.

While this card is very straight forward, my tip for piecing these cards together would be to use double sided adhesive sheets. I covered a large piece of cardstock with Ultimate Crafts Die Cut'n Bond Double Sided Tape before I would run it through the Sizzix Sidekick Machine to diecut each piece. This way, each tiny piece was like a sticker and I did not spend even more time placing adhesive on each one individually. Lifesaver! As I often do, I used Neenah Classic Crest 110# Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the card base which was cut with the die set and I used Neenah Classic Crest 80# Smooth Solar White Cardstock coloured with Copic Markers and coloured textured cardstock for the diecut pieces.

Thankyou for following along with me today. If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, be sure to drop Neha a message via email or Facebook and she will do what she can to order the product in for you.

Happy crafting and have a great Christmas! All the very best to each of you for a fabulously happy and healthy 2018!!

Teresa

Deni Christmas 3 - BB Beast Friends

Good Morning :-)

I am planning for Auzz Trinklets N Crafts again today, I created another Christmas layout so have squeezed myself into a mid week posting :-)

Silly me thought I had taken photos before I wrote on my planner but I did not, so I have had to block out information I can't share as yet lol. Sorry guys :-p

I have used My Favorite Things BB Beast Friends & the matching dies. I have stamped the images using Misti Stamping Tool and Memento Tuxedo Black onto PPS Sticker Paper. I have then coloured the images using Prismacolor Pencils and then run them through my Sizzix Big Shot.

A nice simple layout for me today, sometimes its all you need in your planner decorating.

DT Rianna ~ Christmas 2

Hi everyone,

This month's theme is Christmas at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts and I have another cute card to show you all. This one I think most of you will WOOLY like, especially the crafters out there who love yarn! 😛

~My Process~

First I started with a white card base at 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches. The My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" ) was perfect to cut my front panels. I cut one from smooth yellow cardstock and a shorter textured piece in teal that I trimmed down. Using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, I stamped some cute little lambs and accessories from Mama Elephant's "Wooly Winter" using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with Copic Ciao markers. Next I cut my images using a Scan N Cut to save time.

After adhering my yellow and teal panels together, I stamped 'Happy Holidays' from Lawn Fawn's "Happy Happy Happy" set in Brilliance Graphite Black ink. These are such versatile stamps and can be used for many occasions. I adhered my front panels to my card base using Tombow's Multi Mono Liquid Glue and started adding my scene. I used the banner string die from Lawn Fawn's "Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up" die set to hang the super cute little sweaters on. Then I arranged the yarn balls into a tree and popped it up with some X-Press It foam tape, along with the little lambs. The sweaters and presents were adhered using Tombow's Multi Mono Liquid Glue.

I really enjoyed making this card. It is simple and yet so adorable for any yarn fans. Maybe those little lambs have been making their own wool for the sweaters?

I hope you all enjoyed my Design Team project for Auzz Trinklets N Crafts.

DT Kerry - Christmas

Its that wonderful time of the year where everywhere you look you see Christmas.  I love this time of year however its very busy with my son and myself also having birthdays (2 days apart) in the month of December.  None the less, it would have to be my favourite time to use all those crafty products out there to create something cute and Christmas-y.

The card I have created for you today I did using a new Lawn Fawn die set called "Large Wreath".  Its super adorable to create wreaths in any colour and to decorate as much or as little as you want.  For mine, I couldn't resist adding little sparkly diamontes as the baubles :)

I die-cut a piece of plaid card from the Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad with a rectangle die.  I die-cut the leaves of the wreath with Neenah solar white card and coloured them using Copics (G02 & YG09).  I cut a circular piece of fun foam with using the circular die in the set and cut some older woodgrain card and placed this behind the wreath prior to adhering down the leaf pieces to the fun foam to give it some dimension and to sit off the page.

I stamped the "reindeer" onto some Neenah cardstock with Momento Tuxedo black ink and coloured using Copics, fussy cut and stuck him down using a glue dot.

With it being a Christmas card I wanted extra sparkle so I cut out the "Celebrate" from some American Crafts glitter cardstock and again, a piece of fun foam using MFT die-namics.  Glued these together to create my own "thicker" and adhered this to the front.

Adding some additional gel pen to the eyes and nose to blacken these up and I was done.

Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas!

If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, contact Neha via email or Facebook and she will do her best to order the product/s in for you.

Christmas Planning with DT Deni

Good Morning :-)

Auzz Trinklets N Crafts This month are playing around with Christmas. I decided to do something new to me and use some of my new stamps to do a layout in my Planner.

I decided for 2018 I was going to move onto a Kikki K Planner, I ordered both a Large and a Personal. My personal is in my handbag and has all my day to day family and personal stuff and my Large I am using for my Design Team stuff and my Card Business. I am thinking about using another Large for my Card orders lol.. not sure if I can make three work yet but we will see how I go.

I wasn't a big fan of the Kikki K Inserts, they just didn't work for me and my needs so I ordered some planner inserts from Chasing Planner Peace, she has an Etsy Page and a Website.

I have used a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Polar Bear Pals & Matching Dies, which I stamped out using Memento Tuxedo Black onto PPS Copier Labels (Full Sheet). I then ran them through my Sizzix Big Shot with the matching dies.

I cut the Simon Says Stamp Winter Snow Word Dies and the My Favorite Things Snow Capped Mountains from American Crafts Cardstock using Sizzix Big Shot.

I coloured all the stamped images using Faber-Castell Polychromos. I have most of those listed below. This was actually my first time using the pencils and I was quite happy with them.

Cold Grey II

DT Rianna ~ Christmas

Hi everyone,

This month's theme is Christmas at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts and I have a BEARY cute card to show you all. 🐻🎄

~My Process~

First I cut my card base at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, and folded it in half. Then I cut my card front (kraft cardstock) using My Favorite Things "A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1" ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" ).

I stamped the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment using Mama Elephant's "Bella Letters" with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks "Candied Apple" and "Lucky Clover" with the Tim Holtz stamp platform. I did one colour at a time and carefully removed the ink from either side of the stamp to achieve the 'two-tone multicoloured look'
I then cut out the sentiment with My Favorite Things "Stitched Fishtail Flags STAX" ( 5/8" x 4 1/2" ) die using the Sizzix Big Shot but altered the length.

I stamped the tree, star and tree trunk from My Favorite Things "Oh Christmas Trees" with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks "Fossilized Amber", "Lucky Clover" and "Walnut Stain". The hats, bears and presents were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink so I could use my Copic Ciao markers to colour the images in. The bears are from Heffy Doodle's "Beary Big Heart" and the hats and presents are from Lawn Fawn's "Holiday Party Animal". I coloured the images in and cut them all out, the pink bear image is originally hugging a love heart, but I cut around the bear as I only wanted to use the bear in this project.

I adhered the card front, sentiment and images with Tombow's Permanent Adhesive Tape Runner.

I added some Wink of Stella to the white on the christmas hats, ribbons on the presents and the star. I originally had nothing on the tree, but it looked unfinished so I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops "White Blizzard" to represent baubles and I used a Wink of Stella fine tip pen to 'join' the baubles together to look like sparkly tinsel. I also added some Sakura black glaze pen for the bears noses.

DT Teresa - Christmas

Hello Everyone!

December is here and you guessed it! Yes, we are sharing projects to celebrate the Christmas season.

I am not organised enough to have Christmas cards well underway, so I usually choose one or two (or a few!) designs and create them production-line style. I keep mostly to a simple design to speed up the process and it is a simple card design I have for you today.

This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110# Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the base which is cut with a paper trimmer at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored with a teflon bone folder at 5 1/2" to make a top folding card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

I used the WPlus9 Holiday Trimmings stamp set and coordinating dies and each christmas tree was stamped with three Altenew inks. To create an ombre affect I inked up the stamp with the lightest tone and then covered the bottom of the image with a medium tone, then added the dark tone to the base of the image before stamping.

The decorative element of the tree was stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with Hero Arts silver embossing powder after swiping the cardstock with EK Tools Powder Tool to prep the surface. The sentiment was also stamped in Versamark ink and embossed with Ranger Embossing Powder, White was then diecut with the coordinating die with a Sizzix Sidekick Machine. I adhered the sentiment with foam tape to complete the card.

Thankyou for following along with me today. If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, be sure to drop Neha a message via email or Facebook and she will do what she can to order the product in for you.

Happy crafting and have a great day!

DT Kerry - Pets and Animals

Hi everyone,
I absolutely adore this stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio, it's so whimsical and beautifully designed. I paired it with the Neat & Tangled Scalloped Cover Plate Die which gave it even more a bohemian feel.

I started by blending Tumbled Glass and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks together on a Neenah Solar white card base until I was happy with the colour. I then stamped the unicorn with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured this with various Copic markers. I was pleased with how  the lime background, aquas and hot pinks worked so well together.

After stamping the sentiment with white embossing powder, I fussy cut out and adhered all the pieces down.

To give it some extra highlights (as all unicorns MUST be sparkly!), I added some touches of a sparkle gel pen and wink of stellar glitter pen to selected areas.

Thanks for looking.  If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, contact Neha via email or Facebook and she will do her best to order the product/s in for you.

Happy crafting!

Kerry
