LOVE

Hello......its Tracey here.

Our Theme for the month of August is "Circles".

I have used stamps from the  Fabulous 'Altenew Vintage Flowers Stamp collection'. I absolutely love how with layering three contrasting colours , I have created these gorgeous flowers and leaves.

The title " Love' was die cut about fours times for added dimension....I wanted it to look like chip board.
I stamped flourishes, a little machine stitching, some tiny papers flowers and a sprinkle of " Nuvo Crystal Drops" .  Be sure to check out the fabulous range of colours from the store. My favorite would have to be the 'Matt finish' .......they look exactly like enamel dots and a lot cheaper!

Happy Creating :)

DT Ness - August Stars and Spots project

Hi all DT Ness back again with my project for this month.

I went with "spots" mainly, and decided to play in my Art Journal with my Distress pens as watercolours, and some stamping. (stamps used were Dylusions Doodle Blooms and Carabelle art stamps - Leafs). Distress Pens are an awesome way to achieve a watercolour look and the colour range is awesome.

Here's my page - hope u like it. I really love the quote used "to plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow"  I finished off my page with some doodling, drawing and some inspiring words.

all products available from AuzzTrinklets N Krafts.
thanks and till next month

DT Ness - Stars and Spots on a canvas

Hi all DT Ness back again....

This month we are playing along with the theme of Stars and Spots. (or Circles).

For my project I decided to work on a canvas.

I have used star dies, old rub ons, paints, walnut ink and dew drops in both 6mm and 8mm. (available at Auzz Trinklets N Kraft)

The dew drops are just beautiful and add extra dimension to your project.

They Can be easily attached with strong glue (I used 450).

Another tip, for all of us that have old rub ons that usually don't work properly, or rub ons with left over letters or designs. Use them on your backgrounds of your projects for added texture. It doesn't matter if the whole design works out.
Thanks for reading

August Theme Stars & Circles DT Deni

Welcome everyone,

Our theme this month is Stars and Circles, for my inspiration I have chosen a stamp from La La Land Crafts called "Star Boy Luka" he is unfortunately no longer available to purchase in rubber.

I have used card stocks from American Crafts for my matting, and the pattern paper strips are from Hampton Art called "Argyle Paper Pad".

I have stamped the imaged using Memento Tuxedo Black ink using my Misti Stamping Tool on Mondi Color Copy. I have cut the circle on my Sizzix Big Shot using Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles.
I have stamped the stars using MFT Starry Night Builder using Lawn Fawn Sunflower Ink.

The banners are MFT Pierced Banner Dies, the number is MFT Big Numbers Dies, and the stars are also From MFT. I have added some Wink Of Stella to one star and Uniball Signo White Gel Pen to the other.
I have attached all the layers to a card base from Twiddleybitz using Scotch ATG, all other items were attached using Tombow Mono Multi.

Hope you get some inspiration from my card, we hope you share what u create over on our sister Facebook page Share Your Krafts. https://www.facebook.com/groups/811307655605508/?ref=ts&fref=ts

See you soon :-)
