DT Clarinda - Romance 2nd post

Hello Everyone!!

It is DT Clarinda here with my second contribution for February. This months theme is Romance. So with that in mind, it is my 20th wedding anniversary next month so I thought I would take this opportunity to make my hubby an anniversary card to celebrate.

Here are a couple of photos that show most of the items I used. I will list them all at the end of the post.

I began by stamping the image (whimsy stamps - bird swing) onto watercolour paper using Memento angel pink ink so that the image would have a 'no lines' finished look. I then painted the image using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolours - I have many different watercolour sets, but this is by far my favourite. The background was painted using a wash of Lindys colour spray - Merci beaucoup mint.

I then ran this through the bigshot using a circle die. I cut a frame using a round rose frame die (unbranded)  and glued them to my backing sheet which came from the Magnolia Lane paper collection from ultimate crafts. The large pink flowers started out white. I used the wicking method to colour them with bubblegum pink dylusions ink spray and then added glossy accents to the petals and rubbed them in ultrafine glitter.

I like to adhere bulky items to cards and LO's using the Finnabair 3D matte gel. It dries clear but flexible so will not crack off if the card is bent. I cut a small piece of cheesecloth and died it with Lindys stamp gang spray in curiouser chartreuse. I also edged the yellow flowers using Dr PH Martins Bombay ink in white.  I then stuck it all down.

I finished it off by inking all the edges in Versa Magic chalk ink - Persimmon and Oasis Green and Kaisercraft ink in Berry and backing it in a matching colour. I then added the words LOVE YOU using washi tape by recollections.

Thank - you for visiting, see you next month.

Cherish

Hello.....Its Tracey back with you
The theme for February is ROMANCE💗
Today I'm sharing a card.

To create the background I covered an embossing folder with ink,  gave it a light mist of water, then layed it  on top of water colour paper pressing down firmly to transfer the image.
I coloured more water colour paper with "Gelatos" (Neha can order these on request) Then punched out some small & large hearts💕
Die cut doily, a sprinkle of sequins and a bunch a tiny white flowers.

We would love to see you creations in "Share my Crafts" using products you have purchased from Neha.

Happy Crafting 😊

DT Deni Love and Romance

Hi All,

DT Deni with you today. I have a card using a stamp set from Avery Elle

It is the month of love and Romance and I have created a Valentine's Card for my Boyfriend, this is our second Valentine's Day together and he certainly appreciates my cards, I am very grateful for that :-)

I have stamped the image onto Mondi Color Copy 200gsm using Memento Tuxedo Black.
I have cut two circles from Lawn Fawn Stitched Circles (unsure what size as I have all of mine in the same pack together) using my Sizzix Big Shot.

I have coloured the image up using Copic Markers (You can see a list of the markers below) I have fussy cut the image out using Cutterbee Scissors - which I have just recently purchased and absolutely love.

I cut a piece of American Crafts Black Cardstock which I treated using an embossing buddy and using an My Favorite Things Stamp Set called Love You More I inked it up using Versamark Watermark Ink stamped it then added some Ranger Gold Embossing Powder and heated it using my Heat Gun.

Bella Wedding was my paper choice for this card, I have had this in my stash for quite a long time, so have actually been using it on the last few cards. I cut the banner using a stitched banner die from My Favorite Things.

I cut some mats from other American Crafts Cardstocks and added all the layers to a Twiddleybitz Card Base using my Scotch ATG.

I then added everything onto the card and it is complete.

DT Teresa - Romance 2

Hello! I hope you all enjoyed your Valentine's Day yesterday, whether or not you celebrated the day designated for love!

Today I am sharing a card that fits the bill for Romance, our theme for February here on the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts blog.

This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110lb Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the base which is cut with a paper trimmer at 4 ¼“ x 11” and scored with a teflon bone folder at 5 ½“ to make a top folding card of 5 ½“ x 4 ¼”.

I chose My Favorite Things Cookie Crumbs and the coordinating My Favorite Things Dienamics set You're the Milk to my Cookie for this project.

I used the sprinkles/hundreds and thousands stamp meant for a cookie and stamped it multiple times onto the card base with Altenew Crisp Dye Ink in Frosty Pink

The layered frames were die cut from Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Smooth Solar White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles dies. I lined up the outside die with the third largest die to create the first frame and then used the outside die with the second largest die to create the top frame and adhered them together using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape and stuck these to the card base with double sided tape.

I cut four milk bottles from Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Smooth Solar White Cardstock and glued them together to create a dimensional piece and did the same with kraft cardstock to create the cookie, using the larger of the two circular dies in the set.

My Heidi Swapp Minc machine then came into action. I foiled Heidi Swapp Minc Sheets using Heidi Swapp Reactive Foil in Light Pink, iCraft Deco Foil in Red and iCraft Deco Foil in Gold. I then used dies from the MFT set to diecut the pieces I needed from the different colours of foil using my Sizzix Big Shot machine. The heart dies came from the Sizzix dies set that coordinate with Tim Holtz's Stampers Anonymous Crazy Things stamp set. The foiled pieces left over, I put away for future projects. I used a shim when cutting the lid for the bottle so the debossing was a little deeper and more obvious.

I took the label for the milk bottle and heat embossed the word milk from the MFT stamp set using Versamark ink, Hero Arts white embossing powder and Wagner heat tool. Prior to stamping, I used an EK Success Powder Tool on the foil to prevent stray embossing powder from sticking in places I did not want it, then wiped away the powder once the embossing had cooled with a microfibre cloth. I was not sure how the foil would react to the great heat of the tool, but was happy to see that it provided an interesting effect and a wonderful texture. I think I will be using this technique again as it would be perfect for a vintage look.

I glued all the pieces together and placed them onto the card base using Ranger Multi Medium Matte before stamping and heat embossing the sentiment from the MFT stamp set with Hero Arts white embossing powder onto a strip of black cardstock which I adhered with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. Again, I used the EK Success Powder Tool prior to stamping on the black cardstock, wiping the powder away with a microfibre cloth after the embossing was done.

I showed this to my husband once I had finished and he asked if he could write in it and give it to me. Ha!

Thankyou for following along with me today. Please feel free to ask questions if anything needs clarifying. If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, be sure to drop Neha a message via email or Facebook and she will do what she can to order the product in for you.

DT Clarinda - Romance

Hi Everyone!!
DT Clarinda here. *waves*  I just want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Denielle for posting my last two posts for me whilst I was away on vacation. I am back now and looking forward to being able to share lots of creations with you.

This months theme is romance, so I have created a lovely little shaker card for valentine' s day.

This is a photo of the items I used to create the card.  I will make a list below.

Firstly I stamped the Gorjuss image onto some blending paper that I had cut to 10cm square and used copics to colour the image.

I then created the box frame using my scoring board and a piece of white card stock cut 11.5cm square. I cut in diagonally from the corners approx. 1 cm and scored two lines. Fold the card on the scoring lines and stick the image to the base of the frame (if it is a bit tight, just trim it down).

Then add your shaker items, and cut a piece of acetate to fit on top and secure with double sided tape or glue.

Using a stanley knife and metal ruler, I cut out a frame from red card stock. This I embossed with hearts, rounded the corners and inked the edges. Attach on top of the acetate. I used a white and a pink Kirarina Wink pen to colour odd hearts to help them stand out a bit.

I then cut white cardstock to twice the length, scored and folded that, and rounded off the corners. Glue the frame to the white card being careful to line it up so the frame is sitting to the edge of the card.
Add ribbon around the edge to hide the gaps. Add greeting and flowers to suit.

Inside was very simple, I just layered a white die cut piece of card on top of a red die cut piece of card and stamped with a matching sentiment.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing my creation. Below is a list of the products I have used. Many of these are available to purchase from Auzz Trinklets n Krafts or can be ordered in by Neha.

Thank you for visiting.

Romance

February is the month of Romance 💕
Hello...its Tracey with you today to share a scrapbook layout I created!
The inspiration for my page came from an image in a book I was reading, with this quote next to it! I decided to re-create it and add a photo.

For the title I first tried stamping it, but it was not bold enough ( I managed to rub it out...you can probably see a bit...its now called a shadow) I then decided to die cut it, which I like a lot better.
The Boat is also Die cut.

I stamped the white background with 'Rubbernecker' Daisy Duo.
I embossed hearts on the sails of the boat, then embellished it with lot of bits and pieces from my stash. A favorite being the tiny heart buttons. XOX was also stamped.

Thanks so much for Looking

Happy Creating!

DT Teresa - Romance

Welcome to February and our new theme for the month here on the Auzz Trinklets n Crafts blog. This month we are celebrating Romance as it will be Valentine's Day soon enough!

I am sharing a fun shaker card today using Altenew inks and Simon Says Stamp dies with sequins from the Auzz Trinklets n Crafts store. I kept the design simple as the elements stand alone.

This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110lb Smooth Solar White Paper for the base which is cut at 4 ¼“ x 11” and scored at 5 ½“ to make a top folding card of 5 ½“ x 4 ¼”.

I used the stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things Blueprints 13 and cut this from Neenah 80lb Classic Crest Cardstock to create the layer for the shaker.

The cute bunnies are stamped images created with the Simon Says Stamp Bunny Hugs die. I cut these from a Darice Foam sheet using the Sizzix Big Shot Machine.

I placed the stitched rectangle into the lower left corner of my MISTI. I removed the heart from the bunny and put it aside, then put some repositionable adhesive onto one side of the foam bunny and positioned it onto the cardstock where I wanted to stamp the blue bunny, adhesive side facing up. I closed the door of the MISTI, picking up the bunny and inked it up with Altenew Crisp Dye Ink - Ocean Waves. After stamping the blue bunny, I moved the stitched rectangle over to the right by 1 1/4" and leaving it in position, cleaned off the foam with a damp Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy. This time I inked up the foam bunny with Altenew Crisp Dye Ink - Cotton Candy and stamped the image to the left of the blue bunny.

The Simon Says Stamp Heart Smile sentiment was then die cut with the Sizzix Big Shot Machine. After removing all the diecut pieces I adhered a piece of acetate from my stash behind the sentiment with Ranger Multi Medium Matte and used it also to replace the centres of the letters onto the top of the acetate and set it aside to dry.

Once it was dry, I took the Darice Foam Sheet and cut pieces to fit behind the stitched rectangle layer and doubled the pieces, adhering with the Ranger Multi Medium Matte in order to offer height and give the shaker pieces clearance when the card was put together.

I placed the various sequins onto the card base where they would be seen under the sentiment window - Auzz Trinklets N Crafts Star Shape Fillers, Auzz Trinklets n Crafts Shaker Mix Red Salsa and added a touch of blue from my stash. I then used Wonder Tape to secure the layer to the card base.

I finished off the card by taking the heart from the foam bunny I put aside earlier and coloured it with a Copic marker, R46 and after allowing it to dry, I glued it between the two bunnies, an exchange of love!

Thankyou for following along with me today; please feel free to ask questions if anything needs clarifying. If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets n Crafts store, be sure to drop Neha a message via email or Facebook and she will do what she can to order the product in for you.
Happy crafting and have a great day!
