Sorry it's been a while since my last post, i'm a bit behind with my blogging at the moment.

I recently received a huge craft haul from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts so have been trying to be a little bit more creative.

A nice card order from a friend always helps too :-)

I have used one of my new stamp sets from Lawn Fawn - Loads of Fun with the matching dies.

I have created a baby shower card for a new little girl. I have used the clothing items from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Little Bundle as the other clothing items didn't suit the look i was going for.

Make It A Card Thursday - Let's Poker About - DT Deni

DT Deni Make It A Card Thursday - The Amazing Cheerleader

Hi Everyone DT Deni here,

I can't believe how long it has been since I have made a card, actually quite sad within myself that my creativity has gone out the window lately but unfortunately we all have these moments.. mine has just lasted a little longer than I had expected.

Today I have created a card for Make it a card Thursday here at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts using an image from Some Odd Girl called Cheerleader Kaylee. I Have a feeling this is the first time I have used her however I have had her for quite a while now. She was one that I had already printed but not yet popped onto a card.

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - Wise Ol Owl

Hi Everyone!

A bit of a later in the week post from me this week. Today is a miserable wet day here so I did a few quick errands this morning hoping there wouldn't be many people out. I wasn't out for very long, by the time I was finished it felt like everyone had arrived.. that was good timing :-)

It is Make It A Card Thursday over at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts, unfortunately I have had to cut down on these lately due to time restrictions however I didn't get a post done on Tuesday this week.

Yesterday I created this card using a new stamp of mine - Daddy Owl by Dare 2B Artzy. I have never purchased this brand before and must say I am quite impressed. It is a clear stamp set and stamped perfect first go.. normally you have to stamp them a few times to prime them up, even the sentiments were perfect first time. I used Memento Tuxedo Black with this set.

I have stamped the images on X-Press it Blending Card using the Memento ink, I then cleaned the stamps using my Hero Arts Clear Design Scrubber Pad, these are available to purchase with the Ultra Clear Spray from Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

I have coloured the owl using Copic Markers and added some extra details using my Uniball Signo White Gel Pen. (a tip I recently heard about was to use the pen on your hand before the paper, this will warm the ink and allow it to flow more freely).

I have used papers from Kaisercraft Timeless Collection, including the clock which I have cut out on the left hand side of the card. I have matted the papers using American Crafts Cardstocks and inked them up using My Ranger Mini Ink Blender Tools and Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Mini Ink Pads - Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.

The Card base is from Twiddleybitz. I have also added a chipboard tree looking design from 2Crafty. I have used the Distress Inks on this aswell so it would blend into my background. I have used Kaisercraft Foam Mounting Tape on the owl aswell as the sentiment.

The stamps I have used around the outside of the owl are from Tim Holtz Euro Elements Stamp Set. Everything has been cut using my new Stampin Up Trimmer (with rotary arm), I am loving my new trimmer!! I was a little worried to begin with spending this kind of money on another trimmer after just recently purchasing the Cutterpillar Pro, but I am pretty happy. You may ask why I have purchased another trimmer.. the Cutterpillar Pro is awesome.. however it is too big for my desk. I currently have it on the table in the centre of my room for bigger projects and when I am working over there. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking at a new trimmer.

Oh, one last thing, everything is stuck down using my Scotch ATG, best thing ever for adhesives, I still use my Tombow Mono Multi for smaller pieces like the Chipboard Tree thing.

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - So Sorry

DT Deni here :-)

Welcome back to our blog, today is Make it a card Thursday. Today I have a sympathy card for you. One of my pet hates when it comes to cards, they are just one of those things that needs to be so perfect.

I have used an image from Tiddlyinks called Faythe Flies, she was chosen specifically by my customer as the butterfly and little girl was very representative of what she had in mind for her friend.

I needed to make this card very plain and simple for this customer, which sound easy enough, but it needs to be just right.

I have coloured the image using Copic Markers, this image is a digital image and was printed on Mondi 250gsm.

Today I have created a Birthday Card for a request for a friend. She specifically asked for something with a monkey on it as this little boys parents call him "cheeky monkey".

Make it A Card Thursday - DT Deni - Let's get our print on

Hi Everyone!

Today is Make It A Card Thursday over at Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

Today I don't actually have a card for you.. my children asked me to share their new stamps with you so that's what I am doing today :-)

I will get them to do these again on some cardboard so I can make some little cards up for them, but for starters until they worked out what they were doing I went with your normal cheap printer paper instead.

Ok, so I haven't shared my haul from this week with you all yet as it is rather a big one.. but this is something special that I ordered just for my 6 year old son Logan. We seen a video that Jennifer McGuire did a couple of months ago and my son was so excited when he seen this stamp set so I decided to order it for him. I also had to order new inks for him as I didn't have any that were little finger safe (or that I wanted to share hahha).

The stamp set is called In Print and it is from Clearly Besotted, I ordered these in through Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.. so if you are interested please contact them for pricing etc.
 

These pigment inks are great as they just wipe straight off the kids fingers with a baby wipe.

These ones above were done by my 6 year old son Logan, he doesn't like to get dirty etc so he actually used the fingerprint provided in the pack of stamps.

The ones above were done by my 10 year old son Jordan (he will be 11 tomorrow omg) Now he doesn't mind getting dirty so he actually used his own fingers to do the prints.

This is my share for today, I will do another blog post when we get time to do this again on thicker cardboard.

Make It a Card Thursday - DT Deni - Cheers to 50

Hi Everyone!

DT Deni here..

Today is Thursday, that makes it Make it a card Thursday for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

I have created a card today for an order, so it has been personalised as such. I have used an image from Kenny K called Happy Hour.

I started by printing the image on Mondi Color Copy 250gsm, I then coloured up the image using Copic Markers. I fussy cut the top of her head so it will pop out from over the die and not get chopped off. I then cut it into a circle shape using Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Small.
I cut another out of Canson Cardstock using the next largest circle in the set. I also needed a size inbetween but didn't have another circle to fit, so I traced the die I used on the image and fussy cut this out.

I inked up the edges of all of the circles using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink, I also stamped Tim Holtz Clear Stamps - French Market around the outside of the image using the same ink.

I then used my Scotch ATG to adhere them all together.

I cut 3 mats for the base of my card, one in Kaisercraft Sea Breeze, one from Canson Coloured Cardstock and one from Kaisercraft Fairytales paper pad. I inked all these up using the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and adhered them all together. I then cut smaller mats in all of the above and inked the edges again.

I adhered the smaller square mats (after all adhered together) on an angle on top of the larger mats on an angle.

I then adhered the sea breeze coloured ribbon onto a white ribbon with frills and then wrapped this around both sets of matting.

Next I added a Kaisercraft doily, on top of that I cut a small piece of d.Line Cheesecloth and adhered it. I then added the circle mattings. I cut some banners from My Favorite Things Blueprints 2, inked them up and added them to the top of my card. On another of the banners I stamped the name of the recipient using Lawn Fawns Riley's ABC's using Memento Tuxedo Black.

I then used a smaller Spellbinders Circle Die to cut a circle from Canson Coloured Cardstock, I inked up the edge and stamped the number 50 using Memento Tuxedo Black and Lawn Fawn's Quinn's 123's. I then adhered this to the top corner.

I cut more mats and banners and added them to the inside of the card. I added my personalised label to the back of the card, popped the card and envelope into a clear cello card pocket and done :-)

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni - You mean sew much to me

Hi Everyone DT Deni Here! ;-)

It is late at night at the moment when I finished this card, but it will be scheduled in on one of my card days lol, So you won't really know how late it is... So excuse my typing skills i'm a little tired, but that's what happens when you are determined to get an order finished for someone.

So today I have for you a Make It A Card Thursday for Auzz Trinklets N Krafts.

I have used an image today from Digital Delights by Louby Loo, I have gone for the image of Crafty Mouse as the card is for a Grandmother for Mother's Day, the customer described her Grandmother as a crafty, thrifty kinda lady. Sewing is a big thing in her life so this image was perfect. Unfortunately I don't have any sewing related dies so I had to think out of the box a little.

I must say I had a lot of fun with this card though, I dug through my little extras basket that I have on my desk.. for when you cut a full length of fence and only need a small piece, all these extra bits go into my basket and I use them on other cards. It also saved me from having to look for dies and do cutting when I am in the middle of something.

Make It A Card Thursday - DT Deni

DT Deni here with a Make It A Card Thursday

I have used an image from La La Land Crafts, this is such a cute image... and you are very lucky as I have another one to share with you tomorrow lol.

I have used lots of items from My Favorite Things on this card, they are one of my favourite brands of Dies, and I have recently started purchasing some of their stamps which are also awesome. They are a clear stamp but stamp perfectly.

A friend's husband is celebrating his Birthday on Halloween, so she asked me to make him a special card. It needed to be Halloween themed but be able to have a birthday sentiment.

I have used two La La Land Crafts stamps which I have merged and made into a combined image.
