Marshmallows by the fire - DT Deni

Hi Everyone,

I am playing a little catch up with card blogging at the moment, My son had surgery two weeks ago which has taken most of my tlc.

Today I have a card share for Auzz Trinklets n Crafts using a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Warm and Fuzzy Friends.

I stamped the images using My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink in Black Licorice and stamped them onto Canson Watercolor Cardstock using Misti Stamping Tool.

I colored all the images using Zig Clear Color Markers, I think this was actually the first time I had used them, still not 100% Happy, but like anything new they need practice.

I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Black Canson Cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block.

I added Wink Of Stella Clear to the fire to make it look a little hotter. then adhered the images using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I cut some clouds using a My Favorite Things Puffy Cloud Die and the circle frame I cut by taping two My Favorite Things Stitched Circle Dies together and running them through Sizzix Big Shot. I used leftover pieces from Mondi Color Copy cardstock that was on my desk. Patterned paper is also scraps that were leftovers on my desk.

I adhered all the layers onto a Twiddleybitz Card base (no longer available to purchase).

DT Deni - Baby's First Christmas

Good Morning All!

As most of you know our dedicated Leader and Shop owner over at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts is away at the moment and arrives back home this weekend. All of the girls on the DT are so thankful for the opportunities she has given us to work with her shop products throughout 2017.

I would also like to thank all the girls have worked with us this year, we appreciate all the work you have put in.

Now that is done, on to my last Christmas Project, as the Design Team comes to end for 2017.
I am using a stamp from La La Land Crafts called Christmas Baby.

I have coloured him up using Copic Markers on Mondi Color Copy 250GSM, these will be listed below all the process details.

I have fussy cut him out using Cutterbee Scissors from EK Success, I have then very gently gone around the outside of the image with a Tombow Dual Brush Marker to give it a finished black edge.

I have cut a stitched circle from Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Stax, (not sure which set as mine are all in one package) using patterned paper from American Crafts Hollyday 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the base layers from American Crafts Plain Coloured Cardstock.

I have matted all the layers using Scotch ATG. I have cut the sentiment using a banner die which I have then chopped the end using Cutterbee Scissors as it was still too long.

The Christmas Trees were cut using My Favorite Things Oh Christmas Trees Dies from Bo Bunny Paper Leftovers (unsure of name as this had previously been cut off). I ran them through my Sizzix Big Shot.

Once the trees were die cut I used the stamp set and a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block to add the decorations onto the front tree. I stamped them with Versamark Watermark ink, I then added Wow! Embossing Powder - Vintage Candy Cane, then heat set them using my Heat Gun.

All these smaller bits were all adhered the mat layers using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I finally added all these layers to a Pre-Made Card Base From Twiddleybitz (no longer in business as far as I am aware)

As finishing touches, I added some Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ruby Slippers.

And that is all my card process done. I will add all the links below of all the products that were used.

DT Deni - All About Men 3

Hi, DT Deni with you today.

What a beautiful day it was in a Sydney today, perfect day for washing the car and doing laundry.

I have created a male card today for. Little 2 year old boy, he is a little man in my life lol.

To start with I had a La La Land Crafts Super Hero Luka image on my desk from a previous colouring, he is available in Rubber and Digital Stamp.
I have cut the arrow, the bracket and the building scene from Club La La Land Crafts - January 2016 Kit. These products are now available separately, I will have the individual items linked below.

I have used Doodlebug Design Inc Day to Day 6x6 pad for the patterned paper and American Crafts Cardstock for the matting layers. All the layers have been adhered using Scotch ATG.

I cut the happy word die using W Plus 9 Happy Trio Die out of Canson Cardstock using Sizzix Big Shot and adhered it to the patterned papers using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive. I adhered Luka to the patterned paper to start creating a scene. I have cut the Skyline Border Die, the Arrows and the bracket using Canson Cardstock and American Crafts Cardstock which I have adhered using the Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Adhesive.

I prepared some black cardstock using EK Success Powder Tool and stamped the word Birthday using My Favorite Things Adorable Elephants stamp set using Versamark Watermark Ink Pad, I then added Ranger Super Fine Detail white embossing Powder and melted it using my heat tool.

I have cut the number 2 using American Crafts Cardstock and I wrote the ND using Uniball Signo White Angelic Gel Pen, I then adhered everything.

I then added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush to the Arrow to finish off the card.

Lastly I adhered all the layers onto a Twiddleybitz Card Base using Scotch ATG, I did the same thing for the inside of the card.

I really hope you enjoyed my card today. All Products Used have been listed below, if you have any questions feel free to send me a message via Facebook.

DT Deni - Animals 3

Hi guys,

Dt Deni here,

I was asked by a friend to make some cards for her Aunty and Mum. They just fit the animal theme perfectly so thought I would share them here also. Oh - and I was actually writing down what I was writing while I was making which I don't do normally unless i'm specifically working on something for a Design Team.

Anyway, I used two stamp sets from My Favorite Things, I used Farm-tastic and PI Green Pastures. They worked so perfectly together.

I inked the images up using Memento Tuxedo Black, stamped them using my Misti Stamping Tool on 250GSM Mondi Color Copy.

I coloured the images using Copic Markers which will be listed below with the product list.

I first stamped the PI Green Pastures, I then masked off the sections I was planning on stamping over using Post It Notes. I then stamped the animals (whether it be the Pig or The Chicken), I cut a mask for the animals and then stamped the fence.

I cut the scene out using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square die on my Sizzix Big Shot.

I then stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of Black cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink (I prepped the cardstock first using a Powder Tool), I added the Ranger embossing powder in white and melted it using my heat tool.

Papers are from Kaisercraft Cock-a-Doodle-Doo, the blue cardstock is Canson. I also cut out the blue 50 using the Canson Cardstock MFT Little Numbers. I coated the numbers using Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush, everything was attached using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue and Scotch ATG.

DT Cassie Play To Your Strengths

Hi Everyone!

It's Cassie here and I am so excited to be part of this creative team and sharing some of my creations with you! We are playing with our strengths this month and I love nothing more than doing a bit of watercolouring. I own a range of watercolour mediums but today, I have been using my Tim Holtz Mini Distress ink cubes.

I started by cutting my XL Canson watercolour paper to size (9.5cms x 14cms) and prepared my Tim Holtz inks on a sheet of acetate paper. I sprayed a thin layer of water on the inks to get them moving. Very carefully, I picked up my acetate and placed it ontop of my watercolour paper and smoothing out the inks so they mixed a little.

Then, I picked up the acetate and pounched the acetate sheet to where I felt needed more colours. Once I was happy with the results, I let it dry. You can also dry it with your heat tool if you want to speed up the process a little!

Once it was all dry, I took out my Simon Says Stamp Elizabeth background stamp and positioned it on my MISTI stamp positioner (take out the black foam piece). I used my antistatic powder tool to prep my watercolour card to avoid any static and using my Versamark ink, I inked up the stamp and then embossed it with Ranger Black Sparkle embossing powder.

I stamped the Happy Birthday onto a scrap piece of black card and emobssed it using WOW white embossing powder. The sentiment is from Gerda Steiner "All Cats" stamp set.

I trimmed the sentiment out and mounted it onto foam tape and finally, I matted it onto black cardstock before adhering the card front onto a side folding card base to finish it off!

I love how watercolours are so unpredictable but always gives such an amzing effect and always one of a kind! I repeated this process with a range of different colour combinations.

Happy crafting my friends!

DT Deni - All About Mum

Hello lovely followers,

Well the month of May is beginning to wind down, I can't believe how fast this month has gone!

I have had a lot of personal stuff going on this past month, including lots of Wedding Planning and also resigning from my day job this week ready for a fresh start elsewhere.

The Month of May to us is all about our Mum's and the Motherly figures in our lives. I am very lucky to have an awesome Mum and a fantastic Mother in Law to be.

I created this card with two sisters in mind to give their Mum, the image just made me think of two sisters hugging.

I started off by stamping the image - "Stamping Bella Huggy Squidgies" using a Lawn Fawn Acrylic Block and Memento Tuxedo Black and used Mondi Color Copy for my blending cardstock.

I then cut it out on my Sizzix Big Shot using a Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle die (i'm not sure if it was from the small or large set as mine are all in the same package).

It was then time to go and find some patterned papers, I used a 6x6 Paper pad from Crate Paper, there is no name on the pad but there is a number #680203. I was nearly finished this paper pad so I only had a few papers to use but I made it work.

I used a Lawn Fawn Stitched Square die (unsure if it was a small or large as again these are all packaged together) to cut one of the sheets of patterned paper using my Sizzix Big Shot.

I cut the black matting using Canson Cardstock on my Cutterpillar Pro. I cut the bird patterned paper to size and attached it to the black matting. I cut the strip using leftovers, the Loopy border is from La La Land Crafts August 2015 Stamp Club Kit (no long available), you can purchase this separately now (links below).

I used Lawn Fawn "Mom + Me" Stamp set to stamp the sentiment. I used my Embossing Buddy to prep the canon cardstock strip first, I then used Versamark Watermark stamp pad to stamp the sentiment and applied Ranger Superfine Embossing Powder in White, I then grabbed my Heat Tool to melt the embossing powder.

All layers were then adhered together using Scotch ATG and Tombow Mono Multi (I switch between the two for different layers). I then adhered all the layers down onto a Pre-made Twiddleybitz Card Base.

Once I thought the card was completed I decided something was missing, so I used the Lawn Fawn "Mom + Me" Stamp set to stamp the grass and the butterflies. I used My Favorite Things Hybrid Ink in Sour Apple, Razzle Berry and Lemon Drop. I then added At You Spica - Clear over the butterflies and the girls shoes.

DT Teresa - Mother's Day

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a cheerful card for Mother's Day, our theme for the month of May.

This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110lb Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the base which is cut with a paper trimmer at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored with a teflon bone folder at 5 1/2" to make a top folding card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".

I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Circle Doodle Background in Versamark Ink onto a piece of  5 1/2" x 4 1/4" Strathmore Bristol Cardstock after using the EK Tools Powder Tool to guard against stray embossing powder. I then covered the stamped background with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder and heat set the powder with a Wagner Heat Tool

I then chose colours of the rainbow from my collection of Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and painted the rings of the circles on the card in ROYGBIV (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) order and I threw pink in there too, for good measure! I lay down a small amount of each colour in a ring and then blended out the colour using a Zig Wink of Stella Brush Marker which created a shimmer all over the card. The shine of the embossing powder and shimmer on the colour looks beautiful, but difficult to capture in a photograph.

I die cut butterflies using Pretty Pink Posh Blissful Butterflies Coordinating Dies from the coloured cardstock, once it had dried and with the same die I also cut some butterflies from a black foam sheet using the Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I allowed the foam cut butterflies sit over night to allow them to bounce back into shape after being compressed in the Bigshot Machine before adhering them to the bottom of the coloured butterflies with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

I cut a triangle away from the coloured piece and adhered it with Kokuyo Glue Tape Roller to the bottom of the left hand side of the card front and cut a strip of Simon Says Stamp Cardstock in Doll Pink and two thin black cardstock strips to run down the length of the triangle. On to the pink strip, I stamped the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Message Me in Versamark Ink and embossed it with Ranger Embossing Powder, White and placed the three strips on to the card front using Ranger Multi Medium Matte. I placed Auzz Trinklets N Crafts Dew Drops 6mm on either side of the sentiment, again using Ranger Multi Medium Matte, which is not at all visible under the clear domes once it has dried. The foam-raised butterflies were then placed onto the card front.

To complete the card, I cut black cardstock into a card front-sized rectangle from My Favorite Things Blueprints 16 with the Sizzix Bigshot and then lay the rectangle die from My Favorite Things Blueprints 13, ensuring it was centred onto the larger die cut rectangle and ran it through the Bigshot once again. This left me with a narrow frame which I glued onto the card as a finishing touch.

Thankyou for following along with me today. Please feel free to ask questions if anything needs clarifying. If you cannot find the items I have used (listed below) in the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts store, be sure to drop Neha a message via email or Facebook and she will do what she can to order the product in for you.

Happy crafting and have a great day!

DT Teresa - Shabby Chic 2

Hello!

I have another shabby chic project to share with you today, catching up now!

I used the scalloped frame from My Favorite Things Blueprints 20 to place on the card base, moving it slightly above the fold of the card to create a top folding scalloped base card once it was run through the Sizzix Bigshot. I then used the same frame die to cut a piece from Simon Says Stamp cardstock in Audrey Blue and adhered this to the partially scalloped card base. This covered the top fold of the card base - as the frame die was moved above the card base before cutting to retain the fold, the edge was flat. Using the coloured cardstock allowed the opportunity for a complete scalloped card front. Using Versamark Ink, I stamped a floral image from The Ton Fresh Cut Dahlias stamp set numerous times onto the card, providing a subtle background.

I used Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Smooth Solar White Cardstock and stamped various images from Hero arts Color Layering Bird and Branch and WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals to create my own patterned cardstock piece. Altenew Inks provided a wonderful feminine, pastel pallet using Frosty Pink, Buttercream, Frayed Leaf and Peach Perfect. From this I cut a teapot, teapot lid and teacup from My Favorite Things Dienamics Tea Party and placed aside.

I then die cut multiple (7-8) tea pots, lids, teacups and (42-48) sugar cubes with the dies from plain white cardstock and adhered the pieces together using Ranger Multi Medium Matte to make sturdy embellishments. Before adding the top stamped piece of the tea pot lid and tea cup I cut away a small area of the plain adhered pieces with my Tim Holtz scissors to allow the pieces to sit flush over the top of the teapot. I then added the top piece and glued the teapot, lid, cup and sugar cubes into place using Ranger Ink Multi Medium Matte.

After brushing over the area to be stamped with an EK Tools powder tool, the sentiment stamp from My Favorite Things Cookie Crumbs was cut apart and stamped in Versamark Ink with my MISTI stamping tool. I used Hero Arts white embossing powder for a stand out sentiment, paired with a Wagner Heat Tool.

I die cut a spoon with My Favorite Things Dienamics Tea Party from a silver foiled piece a had previously made from Heidi Swapp Minc Reactive Foil using a Heidi Swapp Minc Machine. I cut away the lower half of the spoon and placed the handle section against the top of the teacup, adhering it to the card base and giving the illusion of it sitting inside the cup.

The sugar cubes were then swiped with the wonderful Zig Wink of Stella in Clear to provide a shimmer and a sparkle! Finally, I placed some lovely fabric flowers onto the teapot. An elegant, feminine card is the result and would make a great Mother's Day card also.

Teresa
