Hi everyone,
This month's theme is Pets and Animals at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts and I have another cute card to show you all. This one will be going to my 7 year old cousin for her 8th birthday, she loves dogs and I thought this would make her feel very happy when she receives it on her birthday and knowing her favourite cousin handmade it for her. 😛
~My Process~
First I cut my card base at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, and folded it in half. Then I cut my card front (blue cardstock) using My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" ).
I cut out the grass hill with Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Hillside Borders" die then put it through the Sizzix Big Shot with My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" ).
I cut the clouds using Lawn Fawn's "Simple Puffy Clouds" die, adhered it to the card front using Tombow's Multi Mono Liquid Glue and stamped the sentiment 'YAPPY BIRTHDAY!' from Mama Elephant's "Playful Pups" with the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform using Versafine Onyx Black ink.
I stamped the trees from "Snow Day" by Lawn Fawn using Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Evergreen Bough. Once cut out, I went over the trees with the ink pad dabbing them until I was happy with the result.
I stamped the dog "Lunar Animals" and birthday cake "Unicorns and Rainbows" by Mama Elephant using Memento Tuxedo Black on some X-Press It Blending Card so I could use my Copics to colour in the images. I didn't like having the cloud on the cake image, so I carefully trimmed it off using some scissors.
I adhered the card front to the card base using my ATG gun, everything else was adhered with Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue.
I added some Wink of Stella to the icing on the cake and Sakura black glaze pen for the dog's nose and eyes for some dimension.

Hello Crafters!
I have a second Animal/Pets themed card to share today and decided this time I would pop a bunny on an encouragement card. It can be handy to have cards such as this stashed away, so when a friend needs a lift or you want to simply brighten someone's day, you have it ready to go.
This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110# Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the base which is cut with a paper trimmer at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored with a teflon bone folder at 5 1/2" to make a top folding card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
I cut a circle diecut from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Smooth Solar White Cardstock and coloured it with a number of Distress Oxide Inks to create an evening sky - Black Soot, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans.
The stars were stamps from WPlus9 Holiday Trimmings and were heat embossed with a glittery silver embossing powder from my stash. I also embossed the sentiment from My Favorite Things Written in the Stars, which I cut apart for the purpose of placement. The embossing powders used are Ranger White Embossing Powder and Ranger Clear Embossing Powder over Versafine Black Ink.
I stamped the little furry fella from My Favorite Things Snuggle Bunnies and used the coordinating die set and Sizzix Bigshot to cut him out. He was coloured with Copic Markers - BG11, BG15, BG23, BG49W1, W3, W5, R20.
After adhering the elements to the card base, I added the frame from My Favorite Things Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle Windows and the silver glitter cardstock star from Tim Holtz Christmas Tree Blueprint Framelits (now discontinued), all with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

This month is full on with birthdays and special occasions, I will be turning 21 this Wednesday (15th November YAY!) how time flies by...but anyway, this month's theme is Pets and Animals at Auzz Trinklets N Crafts and I have created this cute birthday card that I made for my friend's birthday. She has quite a variety of pets!
I always enjoy playing around with multiple stamp sets to create something cute, fun and unique.
~My Process~
First I cut my card base at 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, and folded it in half. Then I cut my card front using My Favorite Things A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 ( 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" ).
I used my Sizzix Big Shot to cut out the card front, clouds and grass.
I used the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform to stamp the sentiment 'HERD YOU HAD A BIRTHDAY' using Versafine Onyx Black ink and the animals using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the animals onto X-Press It Blending Card so I could use them with my Copic Ciao markers.
Everything was adhered to the card base and card front using Tombow Multi Mono Liquid Glue.
To add some dimension to the animals eyes and the cat and dog's nose I used a Sakura Glaze pen in black.

Hello!
November is bringing Pets and Animals projects to you from the Auzz Trinklets and Crafts blog. I decided to pull out a stamp set I have had here for a few months and had not yet had a chance to use.
This card uses Neenah Classic Crest 110# Smooth Solar White Cardstock for the base which is cut with a paper trimmer at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored with a teflon bone folder at 5 1/2" to make a top folding card of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
I used Simon Says Stamp Cardstock in the colours Seaglass, Green Apple and Green Leaf for the sky, grass and tree foliage.
The dies used were Lawn Fawn Stitched Tree Borders, Puffy Clouds Borders and Grassy Hillside Borders. The tree trunks were coloured with Copic Markers E17 and E 79.
The cat was stamped in Altenew Inks, Paper Bag and Dark Chocolate from Altenew Modern Cats and the grass clumps were stamped from an older set, My Favorite Things Modern Blooms.
The sentiment was also from Altenew Modern Cats stamp set, stamped in Versamark Ink and twice embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder.
I embellished the card using Ranger Liquid Pearls in Ruby Red and Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops in Simply White.
