Stripes with DT Deni

Good morning to all our lovely followers!

DT Deni here with u today, I have created a card using a La La land Crafts Stamo called Marci with Rose, I think this one is retired but other Stamps are available to order through Auzz Trinklets n Krafts.

I have also used the Amazing word dies from MFT, the stitches circle dies from MFT (which I have adhered upside down on purpose because I needed to emboss on the flat side of my card and I didn't think before cutting lol.

I have also used the new Nuvo Drops in Crushed Grape (omg I totally love this stuff and am addicted to using it).
The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black on Xpress it blending card and coloured using Copic Markers.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see u visiting us again soon.

DT Tracey

Hey Everyone,  I have a simple layout to share today using "Strips and Stripes" the November theme.
The paper at the top has stripes .....below the photo I added a strip of paper gathered it up , then machine stitched across the top of it.

I've used inks to create the water coloured background along with some stamping using 'Altenew vintage flowers and Gabi's circle stitch stamp set. The colours are very pale....they don't show up that well in the photos.
Enjoy your weekend

DT Deni - November Challenge Strips and Stripes

Good Morning Everyone!

DT Deni here,

Today I am showing you the card I have made using a stamp from Gerda Steiner called Deck the Halls. This month we are playing with strips and stripes, I have added a sentiment strip, a strip of extra patterned paper, zig zag stripes paper. Oh and the sentiment which is all striped :-)

To start with I prepared my stamp by rubbing it on my hands to remove the stickiness from the stamp, this allows the ink to apply evenly to the stamp and not all blotchy.
I attached the stamp onto an acrylic block from Lawn Fawn, I then applied some Memento Tuxedo Black to the stamp and stamped it onto Mondi Color Copy 250gsm. I clean my stamps off just using wet baby wipes.

I cut all my layers from a Kaisercraft 6.5" Paper Pad called Santa's List, the base layers are from American Crafts Christmas Paper Pad. All of these were cut on my Caterpillar Pro, and attached using Scotch ATG.
I cut the image out using a Stitched Circle die from Lawn Fawn, the sentiment strip is also cut from a Lawn Fawn Die - Extra Sentiment Banners.
I coloured the image using Copic Markers (list below) and added Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Brush. I did add a few extra layers to make it nice and glittery.

Last of all once everything was attached i then attached it to a card base from Twiddleybitz.

Strips and Stripes for November

Hi ,
Its Tracey here.........Can you believe its November already! This month the Design Team  is creating with the theme
"Strips and Stripes"
I have used three strips of pattern paper as a background layer behind the photo, fringing them at the bottom.

To add more dimension to the layout I die cut flowers and leaves similar to the ones on the background paper.  I really enjoy making my own paper flowers.........inking, shaping them and adding Stamens. It might take a little more time but it can save you lots of money! I covered parts of the leaves in glue then dipped them in a chunky gold glitter.

Auzz Trinklets N Kraft have the best selection of Stamens for all your handmade creations....the photo below is just a few that I have, but there are so many more , all shapes, sizes and colours. Be sure to check them out in the store.

I've used large pearl stamens on the flowers below.

Happy Creating x
